How SCR Technology Works

The Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system is an advanced emissions control technology.

ActivatorBlue (DEF) is stored in a separate tank.

It’s injected as a fine mist into the hot exhaust stream ahead of the SCR catalyst.

The heat converts DEF into ammonia.

Inside the catalyst, ammonia reacts with harmful NOx.

Pollutants convert into harmless nitrogen and water vapor.

Usage & Precautions

Do's

Fill DEF (Ecopro) directly from the container into the designated DEF tank.
Use the pipe and hose provided with the ActivatorBlue DEF pack only.
In case of skin contact, wash thoroughly with water.
Store in a ventilated and covered area away from direct sunlight.

Don'ts

Do not add to the Diesel tank.
Do not dilute with water.
Strictly avoid contact with fuel/other petroleum products.
Do not dispose of spilled material into sewers or water courses.
